Jack is a consultant, public speaker and educator. As a Clinical Professor at Arizona State University, a leading research university, he has a track record of leadership and innovation. For much of his career, he has worked as a management consultant in many fields including health care, manufacturing, financial services, and retail with a strong focus on the people side of large-scale change, employee and other stakeholder engagement, everyday ethics and leading innovation.<\/p>\n

He has published three books primarily written for the healthcare market: Productivity Management<\/em> (1990), Strengthening Ethical Wisdom<\/em> (2007) and The Heart of Leadership<\/em> co-authored with Barbara Balik (2010). He has also published Gilbert’s Fables<\/em> (2009). He is faculty for the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and faculty for the American Association for Physician Leadership.<\/p>\n

Jack earned his doctorate from The George Washington University in Washington, DC where his dissertation focused on the role of ethics in decision-making for senior executives.<\/p>\n

He grew up and worked in England, spent several years in Canada, and has lived in the United States since then.<\/p>\n
